Detained ex-Philippine President and now Pampanga Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is celebrating her 65th birthday today, April 5, Maundy Thursday.
And what a great way to celebrate her special day is to invite friends, not in her Pampanga mansion, but at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) in Quezon City where she is currently under hospital arrest due to electoral sabotage.
Accoding to her husband former first gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, his wife decided to serve home-cooked food to her family and friends who will spend the whole day today with her at the hospital.
"The food will come from our home in La Vista, we can't cook in the hospital. So we'll serve food to whoever arrives there." Arroyo said.
