Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition season 4 kicks off with the introduction of 9 housemates (7 guys and 2 girls) who entered the PBB house on Sunday night, April 8, 2012.
At least 12 teen housemates will be spending the summer of their lives carrying out tasks in the closely-monitored Big Brother house for eight weeks. 9 were revealed during the "The Funtastic Kickoff" by hosts Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, and additional host, actor-dancer John Prats.
John, a former housemate and the Second Big Placer of "PBB Celebrity Edition Plus", returned to the program as a regular host.
From 22,305 teen auditionees, 7 guys and 2 girls (who happen to be identical twins) have made the final cut and already entered the Pinoy Big Brother house. The remaining female housemates will be introduced on Monday night, April 9.
The seven male housemates who entered the PBB house on Sunday night (Day 1) are:
Alec Brandon Dungo, the "Chinito Gwapito of Laguna," a pharmacy student and heartthrob swho has joined numerous provincial and school beauty pageants.
Kit Thompson, the “Kid Tangkad of Pampanga,” a six-footer and a self-confessed former playboy.
Roy Requejo, the “Boy Sipag of Naga” who comes from a broken family and has worked as a garbage boy, construction worker and welder to provide for his siblings.
Ryan Boyce, the “Pilyong Binatilyo of Angeles,” a happy-go-lucky aspiring football player.
Tom Olaf Doromal, the “Bukid Prince of Davao” who grew up in a rich hacienda-owning family but humbly partakes in farm chores.
Yves Romeo "Yro" Flores, the “Masunuring Son of Tarlac” who comes home early to reach his 7 p.m. curfew.
Vince Manlapaz, the “Bunsoy Tisoy of Rizal,” an honor student who was raised by his grandmother and aunt.
The two female teen housemates are:
Identical twins Joj and Jai, the “Double Biba of Bacolod”.
