Paul Jake Castillo, who is reportedly going on a steady date with Melissa Ricks, was asked by the former's ex-boyfriend Jake Cuenca to take care of her.
“I just hope Paul Jake takes care of you really well. I know he’s a very nice guy. Sobrang mabait iyan kasi kaibigan ko din iyan. I wish you guys all the best,” Jake said on The Buzz last Sunday.
Jake also said he is proud of what Melissa has achieved and he is sincerely hoping the actress will be happy with the former PBB housemate.
“Masayang masaya ako para sa 'yo. Siyempre I’m proud of you for everything you are accomplishing and finally I’m just really, really happy for you with everything that’s happening in your life in general, even when I found out about the issue about Paul Jake and her,” he said.
Jake added that her ex-girlfriend deserves all the blessings coming her way.
“Siyempre si Mel, to tell you the truth, napagmamasdan ko ang mga nangyayari sa buhay niya ngayon. Sobrang saya ko para sa kanya. Coming out with 'Nasaan Ka Elisa?' tapos 'yung soap niya ngayon. Sobrang saya ko para sa kanya. She deserves it kasi she’s a very. very nice person,” he said.
